Statistical Resources

Statistical evaluation of data can be among the most worthwhile, although sometimes intimidating, processes of completing a research project.  Herein are resources available to provide statistical support for projects.  In no way are these resources a comprehensive review of statistical analysis.  However, for many projects, the resources included will be sufficient to complete a simple statistical analysis.

The best resource for Geisel students looking for help with data analysis may be to partner with fellow Geisel students enrolled in a data science masters program who are often looking to engage on clinical projects. If the proposed project requires quantitative skills support, there may be masters students from the Geisel programs in Epidemiology, Health Data Science, and Medical Informatics available. These students present skills including biostatistics, bioinformatics/programming, and data visualization. Please email Dr. Monica Espinoza (Curriculum Director of the MS Health Sciences Programs) at monica.e.espinoza@dartmouth.edu for more information and include a project description plus timeline in your email.
