Geisel Highlights Academic Promotions
The Geisel School of Medicine highlighted the promotions of the school’s faculty and research scientists for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Team Effort: Restarting Safely
Both first- and second-year Geisel medical students completed their required 14-day quarantines and screening PCR testing per Dartmouth policy. As of this week, we are happy to report that there are no positive tests among our medical or graduate students. Thanks to everyone for their continued commitment to the safety of our community.

Alison Holmes Named Associate Dean for Student Affairs at Geisel
Alison Volpe Holmes, MD, MPH, has been named the school’s new associate dean for student affairs. Holmes is an associate professor of pediatrics, medical education, and of The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice.
Lifelines: Call for Editorial Board Members
Lifelines is a journal for literature and art in medicine started by Sai Li MED ’06 and first published in the fall of 2004. Lifelines has featured work by Guggenheim Fellows, winners of the William Carlos Williams Poetry Competition, physicians, medical students, faculty, and undergraduates, as well as from new authors and artists. We are currently seeking members to join our editorial board. We will have two separate boards for artwork and written work.
