Lifelines is a journal for literature and art in medicine. The journal was started in 2002 by Sai Li MED ’06 and established with the publication of the first issue in the Fall of 2004. Subsequently, the journal was published annually. Lifelines has featured work by Guggenheim Fellows, winners of the William Carlos Williams Poetry Competition, physicians, medical students, faculty, and undergraduates, as well as from new authors and artists.
We are currently seeking members to join our editorial board. We will have two separate boards for artwork and written work.
Editorial board members will:
- Attend the one in-person meeting in late February or early March
- Review submissions prior to the meeting
- Prepare comments to vote for final pieces to publish
If you are interested in joining our editorial board, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, February 7. Please indicate whether you prefer to review artwork, written work, or both.
