Student Career Planning

There is a world of science career pathways out there – we want to help you get started and support your continued progress!

Biomedical employers and graduate programs are looking for candidates with strong skills like those you are developing through NH-INBRE: technical skills in the lab, oral and written presentation skills, workplace “soft” skills and more.

One of the strengths of NH-INBRE is that we can connect you with mentors who can work with you to prepare for and navigate life after college. NH-INBRE alumni work in academia, government, and biomedical companies.

These alumni are part of the NH-INBRE Alumni Association, which exists to support current NH-INBRE students and other alums with career planning and networking. We urge you to take advantage of this unique resource early in your academic experience to help you develop and articulate your own career goals and plans to achieve those goals.
