How did working with NH-INBRE help you?

During my undergraduate degree, I connected with my future employer at Dartmouth College via INBRE collaborations and meetings. My experience with INBRE gave me countless skills in research techniques and scientific communication that I use today as a PhD student. 

Alexis's advice to potential researchers is that “Networking is the most useful tool for breaking into research. Don't be afraid to send cold emails to initiate new connections- I have found this very helpful in finding research/job opportunities, collaborations, and thesis committee members”.
