Dr. Margaret S. Chisolm is Associate Professor and Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Board-certified in general psychiatry and addiction medicine, she has over 2 decades of clinical experience and has served as PI or co-investigator on several NIDA-funded research projects (e.g., R01, R25), as well as Arnold P. Gold Foundation-funded educational research, including on prevention of burnout among medical students and residents. Dr. Chisolm has published over 70 scientific, clinical, and medical education papers on psychiatric disorders and humanistic education/practice, as well as articles (and one book) on the use of social media in medicine, several book chapters, and a psychiatric textbook. Along the way, she has successfully mentored an international cadre of trainees.
