The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice is launching an online Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program in the fall of 2016. The two-year program will include three, one-week residential periods per year ─ making it a more integrated “hybrid” version of the Institute’s existing residential program.
On Friday, June 5, faculty and graduating medical students were recognized for extraordinary achievements at the annual Geisel School of Medicine Awards Ceremony. Held in the Hopkins Center’s Moore Theater, the event honored excellence in academic achievement, research, community service, teaching, and much more.
Students at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth are often seeking out ways to become involved in programs that allow them to customize their education and express creativity. Though the programs are not always directly connected to medicine, the overall goal is always to educate them on the best way to serve the communities they’ll be entering as physicians and scientists.
Ten students at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth have been selected as 2015-16 New Hampshire/Vermont Schweitzer Fellows by the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship, named for the famous physician-humanitarian.
