The Geisel School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement (DICE) has been awarded a one-year grant to support the Alliance for Scholarship, Collaboration, Engagement, Networking, and Development (ASCEND), from Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, a pioneer in scientific breakthroughs dedicated to improving people’s lives.
With the awarding of a five-year, $19.9 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Geisel and the University of New Hampshire will continue to lead efforts to enhance biomedical research capabilities in the state as part of the New Hampshire IDeA Network of Biomedical Research Excellence (NH-INBRE).
Letters of Intent for the COBRE Institute for Biomolecular Targeting (Bio-MT) Pilot Project Program are now being accepted. Bio-MT is requesting proposals for pilot projects relating to its theme: the identification, validation, or development of molecular targets associated with human disease.
The Geisel School of Medicine has announced the inaugural recipients of the annual Munck-Pfefferkorn Awards. Named in honor of two luminaries from the medical school, the endowed award funds new biomedical research projects at Geisel that have high potential to benefit patients and to generate future revenue through grants or entrepreneurial endeavors.
The Dartmouth-led NH-INBRE program—a statewide collaborative partnership of two- and four-year colleges—has received a five-year $18.1 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to continue a successful program aimed at expanding biomedical research capacity and training in New Hampshire.
