Conversations that Matter Speaker Series: Caring for Muslim Patients During Ramadan

Join us for the launch of the Conversations that Matter Speaker Series sponsored by the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement (DICE) in partnership with the DH Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. This series examines the pivotal role people play in creating inclusive workplaces and impact our well-being.  Each episode weaves together storytelling and research-driven conversations with recognized authors, experts, students, faculty, and practitioners.

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members on April 13, 2023, at 12:00 PM are encouraged to watch our live stream panel discussion on Caring for Muslim Patients During Ramadan”. Our panelists will share how health care providers can optimize Muslim patient health by learning about Ramadan. A basic understanding of Ramadan will help promote shared decision making with improved provider-patient partnerships, leading to better care for sick Muslim patients during the holiday, which takes place this year from March 22 until the evening of April 20th.
