On Wednesday, October 15, more than 200 people from Dartmouth and beyond gathered at Dartmouth College to consider the life and work of C. Everett Koop, MD, ScD, D ’37, the 13th Surgeon General of the United States, a pioneer in pediatric surgery, and a storied advocate for the health of the public.
Surgical residents from Dartmouth-Hitchcock and medical students from the Geisel School of Medicine are invited to present their original research at the fifth annual Surgical Trainees Advancing Research Symposium (STARS) to be held on April 13th and 14th at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
