Biomedical librarians will be available on Tuesday, October 11, from 10:30 AM - 2:00 PM in the DHMC Cafeteria Area for an ORCID identifier sign-up event.
Attend this sign-up event to learn about ORCID (a registry of unique identifiers for researchers and scholars); talk to librarians about why this is important; create and populate your ORCID iD within 10 minutes; and, find out how to distinguish yourself with an ORCID iD.
ORCID can be used to streamline processes such as manuscript and grant submissions. It is now required by 18 journals/publishers and 10 funding agencies.
Bring your laptop or mobile device to the sign-up table and enjoy a tasty beverage.
