A team of researchers at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine and Dartmouth Health have received a $5 million funding award from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) and the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to launch a new Learning Health System Embedded Scientist Training and Research (LHS E-STaR) Center.

Research Team Receives $7 Million Funding Award to Study Most Effective Way of Sharing Clinic Visit Information with Older Adults

A Dartmouth-led research group, including investigators from Vanderbilt University Medical Center, University of Texas Medical Branch and Harvard Medical School, has received a $7 million funding award from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute to compare the effectiveness of sharing clinic visit information via a patient portal versus an audio recording with older adults and caregivers.
