Steven Woloshin, MD, MS, a professor of medicine and community and family medicine at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, and Lisa Schwartz, MD, MS, his wife and research partner who died in 2018, have received the John E. Eisenberg Award for Practical Application of Medical Decision Making Research from the Society for Medical Decision Making.
In an effort to give the public a more broad-based view of cancer risk, the National Cancer Institute (NCI) collaborated with Dartmouth Institute researchers and physicians Lisa Schwartz and Steven Woloshin to create the “Know Your Chances” website.
