Geisel professor Nicholas Jacobson, in recognition of leading the first clinical trial of a generative AI therapy chatbot using a platform developed in his lab called Therabot, has been named one of two finalists worldwide for the Chen Institute and Science Prize for AI Accelerated Research.
Jay Buckey, a professor of medicine and director of the Space Medicine Innovations Laboratory at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, and section chief of Hyperbaric Medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, was recently awarded the Albert R. Behnke Award by the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS).

The IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon includes a 1.2-mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride, and a 13.1-mile run. Chad Lewis ’20 has received a prestigious Herbert W. Nickens Scholarship award, and Alex Lindqwister ’21, was elected national chair of the AAMC Organization of Student Representatives.
Geisel School of Medicine student Alyssa Flores ’20, part a team of Stanford University School of Medicine researchers who published a study on venous disease in the journal Circulation, says they found height to be an unexpected risk factor in developing varicose veins.
