Wesley A. Benbow, MBA, has been named Executive Dean for Administration and Finance for the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. In this role, Mr. Benbow will be responsible for the management of all of Geisel’s administrative, financial, and non-academic affairs.

Second-year Geisel medical student Jose “Tito” Porras is among 68 top medical and veterinary students from 37 schools in the United States selected to conduct full-time biomedical research through the Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Medical Research Fellows Program.
Mixing Energy Drinks, Alcohol Tied to Abusive Drinking in Teens
Investigators from Dartmouth’s Norris Cotton Cancer Center found teens aged 15-17 years old who had ever mixed alcohol with energy drinks were four times more likely to meet the criteria for alcohol use disorder than a teen who has tried alcohol but never mixed it with an energy drink.
