On the pleasant early-summer afternoon of June 7, the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth celebrated the academic accomplishments of 84 of its Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Science (MS) graduates at the 2024 Health Sciences Education Class Day.
Congratulations to Nena Mason, PhD, assistant professor of medical education at Geisel, who has received the 2024 NEGEA Innovation in Medical Education Award for “Exploiting a Missed Opportunity in Undergraduate Medical Education: Developing Ultrasound-Guidance and Needle-Based Procedure skills in Medical Students.”
Dartmouth recently earned national recognition as a Skin Smart Campus from the National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention, thanks to the efforts of Jamie Karch, who earned her MD degree from Geisel in May, and many collaborators across Dartmouth and the broader Upper Valley community.
