More than 100 members of the Geisel School of Medicine’s research community gathered recently in Auditorium E at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center to learn about some of the most advanced tools and technologies available today within the areas of single cell and spatial transcriptomics.
On October 29, nearly 200 members of the local, national, and international digital health community—including researchers, clinicians, healthcare administrators, payors, investors, experts from government and industry, and students and trainees—gathered for a daylong meeting at Dartmouth College to discuss the expanding field of digital therapeutics.
On September 26, Dartmouth Health and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, in partnership with Dartmouth’s Magnuson Center for Entrepreneurship, Thayer School of Engineering, and Tuck School of Business, hosted the inaugural Innovation in Medicine & Healthcare Summit at the Hanover Inn in Hanover, NH.
Geisel School of Medicine’s White Coat ceremony was held in Dartmouth’s Rollins Chapel on Friday, September 27 where the medical students of the Class of 2028 received their short white coats, an iconic symbol of their status as physicians in training.

Geisel hosted the first annual White Coat & Gavel Games with teams from Larner College of Medicine and Vermont Law and Graduate School on September 7.

Last week, candidates enrolled in Geisel’s residential Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Science (MS) programs gathered with faculty and other members of the Geisel community for a celebration of research excellence and academic achievements at a poster session held in the Rubin 4 Atrium at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.
