Every year, first-year medical students celebrate a rite of passage in medicine when they receive their short white coats, symbolic of their status as physicians in training. Daniela Armella Tangarife, a third-year medical student, reflects on what the white coat means to her, as Geisel prepares for the Class of 2030 White Coat Ceremony.
The White Coat Ceremony for the Geisel MD Class of 2030 will be held on Friday, September 25 at 2:00 PM in Moore Theater at the Hopkins Center. We will be streaming live video of the ceremony so that friends, family, and colleagues can join in the excitement.
