Ron Taylor, director of the New Hampshire IdEA Network for Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE) program, describes how the NIH's INBRE plays an important role in fostering research partnerships between Dartmouth and other universities in the state. Taylor, along with Dartmouth and University of New Hampshire colleagues, recently held the NH-INBRE Annual Meeting, where students and faculty from participating schools came together to network and share their collaborative research projects. INBRE grants are intended to enhance the caliber of scientific faculty at research institutions and undergraduate schools, thereby attracting more promising students to these organizations.
