Minority Alumni Speaker Series

As part of our continuing Minority Alumni Speaker Series, Dr. Ray Blackwell, DC '80 and DMS '87, will be here next Tuesday and Wednesday, April 1 & 2, 2003. In addition to being a cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr. Blackwell holds the indoor world record for 400 meters (49.40 seconds), for ages 40-44, set in Boston in March 2000.

On Tuesday, April 1, in Filene Auditorium at 5:30 PM., Dr. Blackwell will give a public talk about "Lessons Learned," here at Dartmouth and during his surgical training at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. A reception in the Filene lobby from 5:00 to 5:30 PM will precede his talk. We hope you all will join us in welcoming Dr. Blackwell back to Dartmouth.
