Description: Belfast, Maine is a small beautiful coastal town. It is about 4.5 hours from Hanover. Everybody knows everybody in Belfast. The hospital is small, but is pretty comprehensive in terms of services. They serve patients from an hour radius. On your weekends, you can drive to nearby parks/towns. There are also many events going on in Belfast like Celtic festival, Arts in the Park, etc.

Subspecialty Activities: A lot of autonomy with family practice. You will see many small procedures performed in the office. Dr. Mailloux has a fellowship in OB/GYN and he does C-sections, so you will see a lot of OB patients as well. You will have opportunities to deliver babies and scrub in on C-sections. You will definitely have a lot of practice with GYN exams. On Dr. Mailloux's afternoons off you will work with other doctors in the hospital.

Housing Description: You live about 2 min from the hospital, in an upstairs room in a house. The room is quite big and entirely furnished. There are sheets and beddings provided. There are towels as well. You really only need to bring clothes and toiletries. The host is a very nice and friendly lady. She has a dog who is very docile. and parking outside. Guests are welcome as long as you talk to her in advance.
