Description: The CPMC family medicine clerkship utilizes multiple preceptors to show students the range of family medicine. Students typically work with family physicians in their clinic six half days per week. In addition, students typically work 4 half days in multiple other clinics, potentially including sports medicine, vascular surgery, cardiology and pediatrics. Students may be exposed to inpatient medicine at St. Luke's Hospital. Students typically do not perform deliveries at this site. There are opportunities to utilize Spanish and Chinese among other languages.
