Apply to be a new Student Group

In order to be a recognized Student Group, you must be approved through the Office of Student Affairs with the application below. Instructions and requirements for Student Groups can be found at the link below.

Renew your Student Group

In order to continue to be recognized as a Student Group, each Student Group must apply every academic year using the application below.

Funding your events and activities:

As a recognized Student Group, you are eligible to apply for funding from Geisel Student Government for your events and activities. Student Groups must request funds from Student Government for individual events and activities. Funding requests can be made to either the Student Government Discretionary Fund, the Joe O'Donnell Fund, or the Fran Field Fund.

• Apply for funding from the SG Discretionary Fund, the Joe O'Donnell Fund, or the Fran Field Fund

• You must receive approval for funding BEFORE making purchases so we advise submitting your request at least 2 weeks prior to your event.
• Once approved, you will purchase your supplies (up to the amount approved), and submit receipts for reimbursement within 1 week after your event.

Support for your Student Group:

As a recognized Student Group, you receive support from Student Government as you plan your group's events and activities. Please reach out the following Chairs based on the category of your Student Group:

• Specialty Interest Groups -- Chair(s) of Professional Development
• DICE/Affinity Groups -- Chair(s) of DICE
• Education and Scholar Groups -- Chair(s) of Academics
• Service and Advocacy Groups -- Chair(s) of Community Service
• Student Life Groups -- Chair(s) of Wellness
