LCME Accreditation & Workgroups:  Sharepoint can be accessed here!

The Geisel School of Medicine was awarded full accreditation by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) following its October 2021 meeting.

While the accreditation process is time-consuming and rigorous, the feedback received provides clear areas of focus as we continually examine and improve the educational program and student experience. Our preparation for this accreditation survey also enabled Geisel to proactively begin addressing anticipated areas for improvement prior to the summer of 2022.

Contact Dr. Sonia Chimienti for more details and to get involved!

Wellness:

JED Campus Initiative is here at Geisel and we are excited about what this will mean for students in providing resources and supports to address their emotional and mental health needs. The JED Campus Program (Campus Program) is a nationwide initiative of The Jed Foundation (JED) designed to guide schools through a collaborative process of comprehensive systems, programs, and policy development with customized support to build on existing student mental health, substance abuse, and suicide prevention efforts. Career Advising (OSA)

The Geisel Career Advising Quality Improvement Committee is working to develop a longitudinal 4-year career advising plan for all medical students. We would like to solicit anonymous feedback from all medical students on a first draft of the program outline to ensure that it meets the needs of the student body and best prepares us for residency and beyond. Please fill out this brief survey below with any feedback/comments.
