Since the early 2000s, the Medicine in the Media workshop has helped health and science journalists sharpen their reportorial skills. This year’s session, held Aug. 24-27, convened 25 journalists, researchers, and clinicians to examine AI, shifting federal health policy, Medicaid cuts, and how to tell rural health care stories.
