Dartmouth College alumni and health care investors have committed a total of $1.4 million in gifts to launch the Dartmouth Innovations Accelerator for Cancer which will allow for innovations to the marketplace for the benefit of cancer patients, and provide Dartmouth students with learning opportunities in biomedical entrepreneurship.

A $1-million gift from Susan and Richard Levy D ’60 will fuel the rapid-cycle development and testing of new ways of caring for individuals with serious illnesses. The couple’s gift to the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth launches the Susan & Richard Levy Health Care Delivery Incubator.
A $10 million gift from an anonymous donor combined with a $5 million matching gift, also anonymous, will accelerate research aimed at finding better treatments and ultimately a cure for cystic fibrosis at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.
