At a transformative time in medicine, as wearables and interactive smartphone apps rapidly expand access to assessment and treatment beyond clinical settings, Geisel School of Medicine’s Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH) hosted its fifth annual Digital Health Summit at Dartmouth on Oct. 21.
The play2PREVENT Lab at the Geisel School of Medicine has received a grant from Proof Positive, a nonprofit organization focused on promoting the well-being of the autism community, to fund a two-year initiative to create and evaluate digital health games that help autistic youth build emotional resilience, social confidence, and positive coping strategies.
Innovative research led by a team of investigators from Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medine—in collaboration with national and local organizations across the U.S.—is showing promise in helping to improve the health and wellness of emergency medical services clinicians.
On October 29, nearly 200 members of the local, national, and international digital health community—including researchers, clinicians, healthcare administrators, payors, investors, experts from government and industry, and students and trainees—gathered for a daylong meeting at Dartmouth College to discuss the expanding field of digital therapeutics.
