Margaret Hunton holds an MBA with an emphasis in Human Resources from Drake University. She has worked in various industries including banking, solar, and most recently health care. She comes to Geisel from her role as Senior Employee Relations advisor at Dartmouth Health, where she provided counsel to leaders at all levels.

In her role at Geisel, Hunton is responsible for oversight and direct support for all aspects of Geisel’s human resources efforts for staff employees of the medical school.

A “theater kid” at heart, Hunton spends much of her time outside of work either on stage performing or in the audience. She has worked to build community and connection through the arts and has served on the board of various performing arts organizations in the Upper Valley. She was on the board of North Country Community Theatre for eight years, serving as President for three, and is currently on the Development Committee of JAG Productions. She also enjoys exploring the many hiking trails in the area and searching for the next new indulgent meal with her partner, Aaron.
