Amanda J. Bassett recognized by the Association of American Medical Colleges

Amanda J. Bassett, director of Alumni Engagement and Strategic Events for the Office of Development & Alumni Engagement at Dartmouth Health and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, was recognized by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), for her service as a steering committee member and as the chair-elect for the Group on Institutional Advancement (GIA).

The GIA supports the professional growth of its members, interaction and collaboration within the institutional advancement community, and communication between the AAMC and its institutional members. The GIA Steering Committee provides strategic direction for institutional advancement programming and resource development and supports communications with the AAMC and its institutional members.

“Amanda’s expertise and perspective provide invaluable contributions and insights, in addition to representing [Dartmouth Health] at a national level. Amanda’s leadership is critical to the success of the GIA, the institutional advancement community, and academic medicine—now and in the future,” wrote Jennifer L. Blanck, director of Constituent Engagement for Institutional Advancement at AAMC, in Bassett’s recognition letter.
