Congratulations to Dr. Justin Mowchun and Claire Hogue Davilla (’18) on their Published Research in Medical Science Educator

Justin Mowchun MD, MScEd, and former Geisel medical student Claire Hogue Davilla, MD (’18) recently published their qualitative research study in Medical Science Educator, “How am I doing in small group? Student perceptions of feedback in case-based learning sessions”.  Analysis of the perspectives of 2nd year medical students learning neurology through case-based learning led to a better understanding of the performance feedback process for individual students in the small group learning environment, including linking the findings to organizational psychology research on motivating interdependent teams. Claire Hogue Davilla was a 4th year medical student at the time of the study.
