As many of you know, there was a fire in Geisel’s Remsen building on the Hanover campus today. The fire was located in a mechanical room on the 8th floor and was rapidly extinguished by sprinklers and personnel from the Hanover Fire Department who responded immediately. Most importantly, nobody was injured in the fire.

We are pleased to announce that following a national search, Anna Noel Miller, MD, has been named Chair of the Department of Orthopaedics at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. She will begin work in December 2024.
