Dr. Nena Mason, Assistant Professor of Medical Education, has been selected as the recipient of the 2024 NEGEA Innovation in Medical Education Award for her proposal "Exploiting a Missed Opportunity in Undergraduate Medical Education: Developing Ultrasound-Guidance and Needle-Based Procedure skills in Medical Students"
She will be presented with this award in person at the NEGEA 2024 Annual Conference which will take place in New York at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, May 29-31. Each year at the conference, the Innovation award winner is invited to present their work as an Oral Abstract Presentation.
The NEGEA will provide $1,000 to recognize her outstanding innovation in medical education.
