Dr. Michael Lee, Associate Professor of Medical Education, has been named the Chair-Elect of the Division of Pharmaolcogy Education (ASPET). The Division for Pharmacology Education (DPE) serves to promote rational therapeutics by facilitating the development of pedagogical skills in pharmacology educators and promoting educational research in pharmacology. Their primary focus is on pharmacology teaching and learning by graduate and health sciences students. The DPE also inducts new members into the Academy of Pharmacology Educators, which recognizes outstanding achievement in pharmacology education, scholarship, service and leadership.
