Grant Information

R01 CA192803 Pogue/Paulsen (co-PIs) 03/01/15-2/29/20
Optical Scatter Imaging System for Surgical Specimen Margin Assessment during Breast Conserving Surgery
This project is to develop an industry/academic partnership with PerkinElmer to create a system for x-ray and optical imaging of breast resection specimens, and train the system and test with pathology validation.
Role: Co-Investigator

R01 CA188491 Davis (PI) 07/01/15-6/30/20
Multi-probe fluorescence imaging for rapid intra-operative tumor margin assessment.
The major goals of this project are to use receptor expression profiles from biopsies to compose a personalized cocktail of targeted and non-targeted reference stains for topical application on specimens. This highly innovative correction approach essentially enables rapid, highly-specific gross tissue immunohistochemistry of multiple targets simultaneously.
Role: Co-Investigator

R01 CA191227) Meaney (PI) 04/01/15 - 3/31/20
Microwave imaging for neoadjuvant chemotherapy monitoring.
The major goals of this project are to further refine and optimize the current microwave imaging technology as an important step towards translating the technology to the clinic.
Role: Co-Investigator
