Professional Interests
Dr. Oxman’s interests are in preparing primary care clinicians to manage patients with depression or posttraumatic stress disorder. He has clinical expertise in the diagnosis and management of dementing, depressive, and psychotic disorders in elderly patients. His research interests include the identification and implementation of evidence-based, systematic biopsychosocial interventions which are effective at maintaining and improving emotional and physical function in the medically ill.
