Biography
I consider myself fortunate to have found two professional pursuits that have developed into life passions: pediatric dermatology and Down syndrome. My research focuses on understanding skin conditions in people with Down syndrome of all ages. Through collaboration within the Dartmouth community, the Pediatric Dermatology Research Alliance, and the Down syndrome community, we are striving to better understand why the trisomy of chromosome 21 can lead to various skin conditions. Our work together will help clarify mechanism of diseases and ultimately improve treatment guidelines and medications options to help improve the lives of people with Down syndrome.
