The DICE Office is responsible for developing and implementing sustainable programs that foster an environment where everyone feels a true sense of belonging — including the communities we serve. We aim to create a culture where all individuals are respected, and our actions consistently reflect our core values. Our mission is to foster collaboration between Geisel School of Medicine faculty, staff, and students with organizations and individuals working to solve important local and global issues. Our multidisciplinary approach unites clinical practice, education, and research and builds on our strong community partnerships.

Join us for this year’s celebration of Indigenous healing and its role in shaping the future of medicine!

Guided by this year’s theme, “The Future of Medicine is Indigenous: Our Heritage is Healing,” we honor the enduring knowledge and traditions of Indigenous healing and recognize their continued relevance and potential to shape the future of healthcare.

As part of this celebration, we invite you to attend our panel discussion, “Indigenous Traditional Healing and Whole-Person Health: Integrating Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Well-Being in Contemporary Medicine.” This panel discussion will bring together students, faculty, clinicians, and members of the broader Dartmouth community to explore Indigenous perspectives on healing and their contributions to contemporary medicine and holistic approaches to health and well-being.
