Call for Nominations Now Open!
As we prepare to celebrate our 4th Annual “I am the Dream: The Past, Present and Future” Awards Ceremony. We invite you to nominate someone within your area for one of the 8 awards listed below.
Do you know someone in the, Geisel/DHMC, or the Dartmouth NEXT STEM community who is committed to building and supporting their community? Nominate them for one of the eight (8) awards that will be presented at our special luncheon that is dedicated to the life and vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 19, 2026.
These awards will recognize the actions of individuals who have made an extraordinary impact in the healthcare community and whose actions reflect dedication to academic excellence as well as excellence in their area of expertise beyond the scope of their profession. Nominations will be accepted in the following eight categories:
(1) Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Legacy Award (all staff, faculty, students, resident, fellow and alumni are eligible)
(2) Student of Merit Award
(3) Distinguished Alumni/ae Award
(4) The Samuel F. McGill, MD Class of 1939 Award (all staff, faculty, students, and alumni are eligible)
(5) Outstanding Faculty Award
(6) Outstanding Staff Award
(7) Dartmouth NEXT STEM Award (all staff, faculty, students, and alumni are eligible)
(8) Community Champion Award
