Women: Leadership, Legacy, and Lessons Learned

September 22, 2026 | 5:30 - 9 PM | Artists For Humanity | 100 W 2nd St, Boston, MA

In partnership with Women of Dartmouth, the Geisel School of Medicine’s DICE Office is proud to host Women: Leadership, Legacy, and Lessons Learned, a signature event commemorating the 50th anniversary of Dartmouth's historic 1st class of fully matriculated female students.

The evening will celebrate the achievements and contributions of women leaders across academia, business and finance, public service, healthcare, and journalism. A distinguished panel will take part in a moderated conversation exploring the leadership experiences, legacies, and lessons that have shaped their careers. The event includes roundtable discussions, a reception, and a livestream, providing opportunities to connect, reflect, and engage with this extraordinary group of leaders.

The conversation will be moderated by 10-time Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist Soledad O’Brien, whose thoughtful and incisive interviewing style has made her a respected voice in broadcast journalism. Jennifer Hunt, MD, the new dean of the Geisel School of Medicine and the first woman to lead the school in its 229-year history, will offer opening remarks.
