The New Ventures Office is a unique resource and component of the rich and diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem at Dartmouth. New Ventures is here for Faculty, staff, students, postdocs, alums - anyone with a passion for the translation of academic invention into products or services that can help patients. We can provide consultation regarding intellectual property, balancing academic and entrepreneurial goals, “alternative” careers, dilutive and non-dilutive funding options, and entrepreneurship in the fields of therapeutics, devices, diagnostics, and even some digital. From deciding whether to submit an invention disclosure (you should!) to deciding whether to start your own company (you probably should!), New Ventures is here to provide assistance, and an experienced perspective.
