- Use AI/GenAI as a collaborator/tool to enhance learning/work, as permitted, and not in place of
- Respect privacy and NEVER input confidential info/records/PII/IP into public AI/GenAI
- Always use your own critical analysis, reviewing for accuracy and remain vigilant in identifying potential misleading or bias info, checking supporting facts (sufficient/credible), and look at an issue from multiple tools/angles (not single source)
- AI/GenAI use in creative, academic, and research/scientific work must be well documented and acknowledged e.g. anything to be peer-reviewed, published, evaluated, graded, or sold/distributed (Transparency, Integrity & Rigor)
  - Declare/cite use of AI
  - Detail the AI tool name, model version, dates of usage, and the full text of prompts used
  - Archive and keep record of the prompts used and raw unedited AI output
