Assistant Professor of Epidemiology
Diane Gilbert-Diamond trained in Biology at Dartmouth College and in Nutritional Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her research focuses on how genetic and prenatal exposures predispose children to unhealthy weight gain in our current obesogenic environment. Through a series of studies she has found compelling evidence that food advertising increases caloric consumption in children and that some children are predisposed to overeating when they watch food ads.
