Over 120 countries require graphic warning labels on cigarette packaging, and still despite extensive evidence of their effectiveness the United States has not updated label regulations since 1984. Now, after a landmark victory in a federal court the FDA must issue their final rule mandating graphic health warnings on both packaging and advertisements by March 15, 2020. Read more here.
