Maple House

Welcome! Your House is here to help you grow—personally, professionally, and as part of a connected community.
You can expect to flourish in a small, supportive community where you’ll build lasting connections with peers and mentors. Each House includes faculty mentors who support you throughout all four years, a mix of students from different class years for shared learning and peer mentorship, and dedicated time to develop your skills, reflect on your growth, and explore your personal and professional goals.

I have worked as a general internist at the DH-Lyme clinic for the past 18 years. I have an active primary care practice and precept both Geisel students and primary care internal residents. I have a special interest in geriatrics and currently have a small amount of funding through the Geriatric Center of Excellence at Dartmouth. I have enjoyed being a facilitator for OnDoctoring for 10 years.

Some of my personal interests are being outside with my family and friends particularly hiking, cross country skiing and paddle boarding. I also especially like swimming in the crystal clear lakes of the North East Kingdom of Vermont. I try to find time for reading, gardening and puzzles, but I haven't been succeeding with that! For the past 5 years, I have been an active board member for the Norwich Historical Society.
