Research Events
The Geisel Department of Dermatology offers exciting research opportunities for students interested in dermatologic science and clinical research. If you’re working on a project, you’ll have the chance to present your findings at Dermatology Research Evening, where you can share your work with faculty and peers in a supportive, low-pressure setting. First-year medical students can also showcase their research at the Geisel M1 Research Poster Session, a great way to connect with mentors and get recognized for their efforts. Whether you’re into epidemiology, clinical studies, or translational research, dermatology provides an awesome space to make real contributions and build your academic profile.
Geisel Research Poster Presentations
Each year the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth hosts a poster presentation night for current medical students. This is their opportunity to showcase their summer projects. Below are photos of our medical students who collaborated with our faculty and residents on their projects in October 2025.

Dermatology Research Evening
Each year the Department hosts a research evening presenting the multiple projects, papers and research successes over the past year. Presentations range from short case reports to cutting edge technology and therapeutic improvements. Presenters are Geisel medical students, our own Residents and Faculty as well as others from outside of our Department. Here are a few examples of our research portfolio.
