The department continues to expand its clinical trials program, focusing on innovative research for dermatological conditions, including those without FDA-approved treatments such as hidradenitis suppurativa and prurigo nodularis. Ongoing and upcoming studies target conditions like psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and non-invasive treatments for skin cancers.
The program’s growth is bolstered by the addition of a dermatology research fellow and a new clinical trials coordinator. Collaborations with pharmaceutical companies leverage our faculty’s expertise and access to niche patient populations through 12 specialty clinics. These efforts advance clinical research opportunities, offering high-quality data for industry partners and fostering engagement in groundbreaking studies.
