I am pleased to announce the appointment of Erika T. Brown, PhD, as Geisel’s new Dean of Faculty Affairs, effective December 13. Dr. Brown, who currently serves as the Sr. Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, is a nationally recognized leader in faculty development with nearly 10 years of experience in faculty affairs and professional development and 20 years in academic medicine. I'm excited to have her leadership as we expand our Office of Faculty Affairs to best meet the needs for the advancement and professional development of all our faculty.

Also, please join me in thanking Leslie Henderson, PhD, for her tremendous service as our former Dean of Faculty Affairs. As many of you know, Leslie retired in June. Her leadership and tireless efforts in this area truly elevated our faculty development efforts.
