About Kim Valcin, MPH
In her current role at Geisel School of Medicine, Kim Valcin, MPH, provides project management and monitoring support for the implementation of Geisel School of Medicine's Strategic Plan and other Dean's office initiatives. Her career has spanned diverse projects, from public health interventions in countries like Suriname, Malawi, and Mozambique to managing projects for UNC Healthcare. As a first-generation Haitian American, Kimberly is a passionate advocate for health as a human right, joy at work, and gender justice. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending quality time at home, "food tourism", or kayaking New England lakes with her wife, Whitney, and their dog, Riley. Kimberly's hobbies include cooking, indoor gardening, and singing loudly.
