About Me
I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2021 with two majors and one minor: Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, Biology, and Chemistry respectively. I’ve been enamored by science and the intersection between biology and chemistry since childhood, which led me to pursue four years of undergraduate research investigating topics such as epigenetic silencing and gene regulation. I chose Dartmouth’s MCB program for its breadth and diversity of research opportunities and topics, but ultimately chose immunology as my thesis research. I made this decision despite having never taken an immunology course, but my experience living through a pandemic and learning about the fascinating interplay between cellular and molecular mechanisms in an immunological context motivated me to pursue the research topics in the Huang Lab where I’ve most recently been investigating how in vitro polarization of CAR-T cells can improve their efficacy against solid tumors. Outside of the lab, I enjoy traveling and exploring, playing the piano and guitar, playing video games, and learning about space and quantum physics.
