About Me
I grew up in Greenville, South Carolina, where my curiosity for science and desire to help others first began. I earned my B.S. in Biochemistry from Hampton University and bring a unique perspective shaped by both rigorous research training and lived experience in patient care. I am an American Cancer Society IMPACT Postbaccalaureate Fellow at the Dartmouth Cancer Center, where my research focuses on developing safer delivery models for IL-2 and IL-33 cytokines using AAV vectors. I am driven by a vision of medicine that integrates scientific discovery with genuine patient care—understanding that research should not exist only at a distance from the people it is meant to serve. My long-term goal is to become a physician and stand at the intersection of scientific innovation and clinical medicine. Outside of the lab, I enjoy watching reality TV, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family.
